Kim Research Group
My research at the UNIST will focus on developing innovative nanomaterials for energy and biomedical applications with a mission of improving material properties and providing new insights into novel soft and hybrid nanomaterials. Toward this goal, my research group will combine multidisciplinary approaches, drawing specialties from synthetic chemistry, polymer design and processing, nanomaterial preparation and characterization, energy and biomedical applications.
With its extremely interdisciplinary nature, I look forward to partnering with many laboratories with diverse spectrum of interests. I am especially excited about the opportunity to pursue these goals at the UNIST, where innovative ideas and creative minds come into great discovery. In the process of pursuing these goals, I look forward to introducing and sharing the excitement of top-notch nanomaterial and biotechnology researches with undergraduate and graduate students at the UNIST. I also believe the fruitful accomplishments along the way will contribute to the development of science and society.
